Designed by architect George Cobb more than 40 years ago, the 6543-yard, par-72 Barony Course at Port Royal Golf Club demands accuracy rather than length and welcomes players of all levels of expertise. Another George Cobb-Port Royal golf course, Robber's Row, was redesigned by architect Pete Dye in 1994. With magnolias, live oaks and historical markers, the 6675-yard, par-72 Robber’s Row at Port Royal Golf Club is truly a scenic course. The third Port Royal golf course, Planter's Row, was designed by Willard Byrd and completed in 1984. The following year, the 6625-yard, par-72 Planter’s Row course hosted the PGA Senior Tour's Hilton Head Seniors International.
The Port Royal Golf & Racquet Club is located in Port Royal Plantation, home to the Westin Resort. Amenities at the Port Royal Golf Club include a clubhouse, Bayley's 19th Hole Grill, banquet &meeting facilities, pro shops and the Hilton Head Island School of Golf. In addition, the Port Royal Racquet Club features tennis courts with all three Grand Slam surfaces (Har-tru, grass, hard).
