Shingle Creek Golf Club is home to one of the newest championship golf courses in Florida. The Orlando-based course opened in December 2003, but added several fairway bunkers over the following summer to make the final two holes of the course even more challenging. Set amidst oaks and pines, Shingle Creek Golf Club boasts a historic location next to Shingle Creek, headwaters of the Florida Everglades. Golf instruction is available through the Brad Brewer Golf Academy. Amenities at Shingle Creek Golf Club include golf carts with GPS yardage systems, a clubhouse, golf shop and snack areas.

Shingle Creek Golf Club is located along the edges of the 1,500-room Shingle Creek Resort, slated to open its doors in 2006. Upon completion, the resort will offer meeting space, a ballroom, tennis courts, swimming pools, a fitness center and spa. In addition to 18 holes of golf at Shingle Creek Golf Club, guests at the resort will be able to enjoy such outdoor activities as hiking, canoeing and fishing.
